- 1 cup of flour
- 1 bar of butter
- 1/2 cup semolina flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 bowl of yogurt
- 4 tbsp of rose water
- 3 cardamoms
- 2 tsp of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3 tbsp of almond sliced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 orange juice
- 1/2 tsp saffron
- 6 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp pistachio slivered
Instructions
Instructions for Baking Persian Love Cake:
- add oil and butter to the bowl
- add sugar
- mix finely
- then add eggs and mix
- add yogurt and mix finely
- mash cardamoms and add to the bowl
- add rose water
- sift the flour
- add semolian
- mix finely
- sprinkle baking powder and salt
- pour the mixture into a greased pan
- put in the already warm oven for 40 minutes
- to make the syrup combine honey with orange juice
- bring it to boil and lower the hit to simmer
- add rose water and ground saffron
- add pistachio slivered and turn off the heat
- using a thin wooden skewer to to make hole all the surface of the cake
- pour the warm syrup on it and let it soak for 1 hour
- then serve
