  • 1/2 cup semolina flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs

  • 3 cardamoms

  • 2 tsp of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp of almond sliced
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp saffron
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp pistachio slivered

Instructions

Instructions for Baking Persian Love Cake:

  • add oil and butter to the bowl
  • add sugar
  • mix finely
  • then add eggs and mix
  • add yogurt and mix finely
  • mash cardamoms and add to the bowl
  • add rose water
  • sift the flour
  • add semolian
  • mix finely
  • sprinkle baking powder and salt
  • pour the mixture into a greased pan
  • put in the already warm oven for 40 minutes
  • to make the syrup combine honey with orange juice
  • bring it to boil and lower the hit to simmer
  • add rose water and ground saffron
  • add pistachio slivered and turn off the heat
  • using a thin wooden skewer to to make hole all the surface of the cake
  • pour the warm syrup on it and let it soak for 1 hour
