Ingredients
Tabrizi meatball Ingredients
- 2 kg Ground beef
- 150 grams rice
- 150 grams of split peas
- 1 small chicken
- 50 grams barberries
- 50 grams plums
- 50 grams walnuts
- 50 grams of pomegranate paste
- 2 onions
- 5 garlic cloves
- Bay leaves
- 2 carrots
- 1 egg
- 3 tomatoes
- Tomato paste
- Dried basil
- tarragon
- savory
- dried mint
- Salt
- Pepper
- Ground turmeric
- Curry
Instructions
How to make Tabrizi Meatball
- mix 3 garlic cloves, some walnuts, barberries, plums, and pomegranate paste in a bowl
- Put the stuff in the chicken
- Chop onion and carrots
- put the chicken in the pot to cook for 30 min
- Strain rice and split peas that have already been soaked for 1 hour.
- Mash them in the mortar
- mix them with ground beef
- grate an onion and add it to the bowl ( just make sure the juice is fully extracted)
- add an egg
- Massage it nicely
- Add salt, pepper, ground turmeric, and curry
- Add dried basil, mint, tarragon, and savory
- Massage it again
- put in the refrigerator for one hour
- chop onion and tomatoes
- fry onion and season with salt, pepper, and ground turmeric
- Add tomato paste
- Add tomato and fry
- Pour some water
- Place a thin cloth on the big bowl
- put some stuff you already made on cloth
- put the chicken in the middle
- Add the remaining stuff on top of the chicken
- Use warm water to cover the cracks on the surface
- Tie the cloth tightly
- Put it in a pot When the sauce is boiling
- Let it cook for 3 hours in the oven
