Ingredients
Ingredients for Making Baghlava:
- 250 grams butter
- 350 grams sugar
- 500 grams walnut
- 100 grams pistchio
- half of a lime
- Baghlava dough
- 2 cardamoms
- 1 tbsp of rose water
Instructions
Instructions for Making Baghlava:
- Mash walnuts and pistachios.
- Melt butter.
- Mix water with sugar.
- Pour into a pot and boil over medium flame for 30 minutes.
- Add half of the lime juice.
- Mash cardamoms and add them.
- Also, add rose water.
- Open the baghlava dough layer by layer.
- Brush butter on each layer.
- Sprinkle with walnuts and pistachios.
- Roll it around a skewer.
- Place on a tray.
- Put it in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Pour cold syrup over it.
- Set it aside for a couple of hours, then serve.
